Y Incubator
Y Incubator, the Hong Kong Startup Support Programme by Yoho Group, aims to facilitate the Hong Kong startups to widely promote their products on Yoho e-commerce platform and reach a large group of potential customers with the exemptions of listing fee, annual fee and commission, by leveraging Yoho's leading position in the B2C e-commerce industry in Hong Kong and its extensive operating resources.


Startups have always been perceived as one of the important engines to promote economic growth. Nurturing startups will facilitate the injection of fresh ideas, new momentum, talents and creativity into society. As a world-leading international financial center, Hong Kong has made considerable efforts to develop innovation and technology in recent years, striving to foster a business-friendly environment for local start-ups which successfully attracted a number of startups to take root in Hong Kong. According to the latest statistics of Invest HK, more than 300 startups chose to develop their businesses in Hong Kong in 2021. The overall number of startups in the city has reached approximately 3,700. Despite the optimised entrepreneurship ecosystem in Hong Kong, startups are still facing various difficulties and challenges, including limited seed capital, increasing business costs, fierce market competition, and difficulty in obtaining consumer trust.


As a home-grown enterprise in Hong Kong, Yoho Group Holdings Limited,"Yoho"is well aware of the tremendous challenges faced by startups at the early stage. Therefore, Yoho officially launches its Hong Kong Startup Support Programme, Y Incubator, which is an extension of the Yoho merchant partnership. Hong Kong startups fulfilling the following criteria are eligible to join Yoho e-commerce platform with the exemptions of listing fee, annual fee and commission, thereby reducing their business costs significantly and enhancing the efficiency of capital deployment. Yoho platform would assist startups to fully unleash their potential and create endless possibilities.


Startups participating in Y Incubator are required to meet all admission criteria below,

  • Established and registered in Hong Kong

  • Locate in Hong Kong Cyberport or Hong Kong Science and Technology Park

  • Operated within 5 years on the programme application submission date

  • Total number of staff employed within 30 on the programme application submission date


Startups who intend to participate in the program should indicate in the merchant partnership form that the application is made under Y Incubator. The applicant will receive a notification allowing the selling on Yoho e-commerce platform after the vetting process. Under Y Incubator, Yoho will leverage its advantages as a leading e-commerce platform in Hong Kong to export and share its extensive OMOOnline-Merge-Offlinebusiness experiences and operating resources to the startups, facilitating them to widely promote products on Yoho platform and reach a large group of potential customers. Yoho is looking forward to joining hands with the startups to create more high-quality local brands for Hong Kong, the international cradle for startups, and realize innovative ideas together!
